LOL! Mark has predicted the death of tape as early as 1999 when I managed our newly-released SAN backup to tape at Compaq (Think about how awkward that is. My own VP investing in a tape solution and at the same time telling the market is was dead)... 10 years later and tape still exists.. I guess eventually he will be right but when...
