There is a nice tool for exchange email message archiving called archive manager.

This solution captures all e-mails running through exchange to a central database storing only a single copy of all messages and attachments and saving a lot of storage diskspace.

Archive manager supports exchange 2000, 2003 and 2007 as well as Novell GroupWise 6.5.4 and 7.0
